We like to see our pupils wearing uniform and having a clear Samuel White’s identity.
Our school colours are:
- White blouse or shirt
- Red tops
- Grey skirts or trousers
- Red and white check dresses for summer (optional)
Children should wear sensible clothing and shoes and should be able to dress and undress themselves.

Children attending Hanham Abbots School are expected to attend in school uniform. The school has a traditional uniform and parents are asked to support the school dress code.The uniform is designed to be affordable, simple and practical. Most items can be purchased from any supplier but the school sweatshirts and book bags, bearing the school logo, and the school ties are only available from Initially Yours, the official school uniform supplier based in Soundwell.

Girls
- White blouse or shirt
- Grey skirt or plain black school trousers
- Grey School Sweatshirt / plain Grey pullover or cardigan
- School tie (not compulsory in Term 6)
- Red, grey or white socks
- Sensible black low-heeled children’s shoes
- Summer dresses (optional) – Red and white check
Boys
- White or Grey Shirt
- Grey short or long trousers
- Grey School Sweatshirt / plain Grey pullover or cardigan
- School tie (not compulsory in Term 6)
- Grey socks
- Sensible black children’s shoes

As Years 3 to 5 except:
- Black Y6 Senior Pupil Sweatshirt / plain black pullover or cardigan
PE Kits for Girls & Boys
- White Tee Shirt
- Black shorts / pair of plimsolls
- Outdoor Games Kit (Girls and Boys)
- Plain sweatshirt / socks
- Separate trainers for outdoor use
- Tracksuit for winter games if possible
Please do not send your children with:
- Trainers or fashion shoes
- Jeans, flares, leggings etc.
- Extreme fashions
- Jewellery except for watches, S.O.S. bracelets or studs during healing following ear piercing
- Toys
- Valuables such as mobile telephones or electronic games
- Large amounts of money
